Kalijeera is a non-Basmati variety of rice which has shorter grains. But this is still called the “Prince of Rice” for a reason. This rice is extremely flavourful and aromatic. It also has a mild nutty flavour which makes it perfect for making “payesh”, which is essentially a rich, sweet rice pudding. You can also replace your basmati rice with Azka Kalijeera Aromatic Rice while making pulao.
